When taught properly, Taekwon-Do is a martial art like no other and works wonders for those
who practice it.

Founded on April 11th, 1955, Taekwon-Do is the Korean art of self-defense. Techniques are based on scientific principles including Newton's law in order to create the most effective hand and foot techniques.
A well-rounded martial art, Taekwon-Do is excellent for both physical and mental fitness, and includes hand and foot techniques, self-defense releases, patterns, competitive sparring, and even some ground work. An emphasis is put on doing things the most correct, authentic way, using methods and traditions passed down and diligently recorded since it's creation.
My dream has at last been realized... the ultimate fantasy of spreading and teaching Taekwon-Do with no regard to considerations of religion, ideology, national boundaries, or race.
- General Choi Hong-Hi, father of Taekwon-Do
